This month I wrote an article about Pescadero's own Early Bird Ranch. Kevin and Shae Lynn Watt raise pastured chickens and turkeys. Recently they branched out into goats and meat rabbits. Read all about their approach to sustainable agriculture in the July issue of CoastViews Magazine.
And as usual, I've got two movie reviews: The animated feature Persepolis and summer blockbuster Thor. Both are based on graphic novels - one the story of a young girl growing up during the cultural revolution in Iran, the other a comic book based on a Viking myth.
